Our Collision Center is Moving!

Pardon our dust, but we're excited to announce that the Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Murray Collision Center is moving into a brand new building just across the street from the dealership!

Construction on the new Collision Center has already begun, and we'll soon be serving customers in the Salt Lake City area from the new location. As you can see, there is much work to be done, but we're thrilled to be able to help customers fix their vehicles in a newer and better environment that will accommodate even more business!

Car Spring Cleaning Tips

The weather is warming up and your vehicle could probably use a good spring-cleaning! Winter weather can often introduce a number of messy situations such as salt, mud, old trash, and more. So we’ve put together a few Car Spring Cleaning Tips for you!

1.    Clear it out!

·      Remove any old trash or loose items that might be in your vehicle. Be sure to check your glove box, trunk, floors, and other storage areas.

2.    Vacuum and dust.

·      Clean up those floors and make that dashboard shine again! Be careful when using certain products on your dashboard as they could potentially harm your leather or surface. Read the label carefully to select the product that will work best for you.

3.    Clean the windows.

·      It seems obvious, but sometimes you never know how dirty the insides of your windows really are until you clean them! This will help you keep your visibility as high as possible.

4.    Wash the exterior.

·      Leaving road salt and dirt on your vehicle can be harmful to your vehicle’s paint and could lead to long-term damage. Wash the outside with soap and water, and to protect it further, add a coat of wax!

5.    Get a tune up.

·      It’s not just the visible parts of your car that need to be cleaned. The harsh winter weather can do a number on your vehicles engine and parts. Spring Car Care Tips

Salt Lake City is warming up and spring time is officially here! Harsh winter weather can often be tough on a vehicle, so this is the time to reward your car for taking such good care of you by making sure you do some basic spring car maintenance. Use the following spring car care tips to get your vehicle ready for warmer weather!

• Check Your Battery, Plugs and Wires: Winter cold can significantly decrease your car battery's performance. Have a Certified Technician assess the strength of your batter to ensure you don't get stranded out on the road.
• Check Your Tires: Colder air can decrease air pressure in your tires which can cause them to wear more quickly and unevenly. Check your tires using a tire pressure gauge and inflate them to the appropriate levels as necessary. Check your tire pressure often, as it is not uncommon for pressure to change frequently. 
• Check Your Fluid Levels: It's always a good idea to make sure your vehicle is topped off on all fluids--including your oil levels! Your Larry H. Miller Chevrolet Murray Technicians will do this automatically when you come in for an oil change.
• Check Your Windshield Wipers: Winter can leave wiper blades stiff and cracked, resulting in poor visibility during times of wet weather. Get them changed out on your next service visit. You'll be glad you did! 
• Check the Engine Air Filter: All of the beautiful spring blossoms also fill the air with pollens and dusts that you'll want to be sure get caught in your air filter. Have your Certified Technician examine your filters to be sure that your vehicle is ready for everything spring throws at you.
