LHM 1000 Used Sales Event

This past Memorial Day weekend we held our annual LHM 1000 Used Car Sales Event, which ran for four days starting Thursday, May 25th. In Sandy, we took all of our excellent used car inventory, and combined them with other Larry H. Miller dealerships.

9 Tips to Spring Clean Your Chevy Today

Spring is here and that means it's time to wash away all the grime that's built up on your vehicle over the long winter months. While it might be temping to just take your car through the car wash and call it done, here are some simple tips to give your car a thorough spring cleaning.

Ditch the debris  

Old receipts, crumpled up napkins from take-out and empty bottles have a knack for collecting in cars. Especially during the cold winter months when you're rushing inside to get out of the snow. A good first step to spring cleaning is to gather up all these items and put them in the trash. From there, you can easily vacuum out your vehicle and appreciate how much better your car looks already!

Spruce up the upholstery  

If you have leather seats, wiping them down with a damp cloth is a great and easy way to clean the upholstery. Looking to do more to improve your leather seats? Follow these steps to keep your leather seats in prime condition. If you have cloth seats, here are some tips to remove stains.

Do away with dust

Wipe down your console and dashboard with a damp rag and get rid of all the dust collecting there. You'll be shocked how dirty your rag will get and your sinuses will thank you.

Elevate the exterior

Give your car a good scrub and get rid of all the salt and grime that has built up over the winter months. It's also a good time to a coat of wax before the warmer summer months are upon us.

Replace windshield wipers 

You know what they say, April showers bring May flowers. Replace your windshield wipers so you're ready for the changing season!

Wash the windows  

Now that the weather is warmer you can finally get rid of those smug marks on your windows. Clean the inside and outside of each window and your side mirrors with window cleaner and shine with a dry towel.

Tackle the trunk

Dive into the trunk and clean out any trash. It's a good time to check the condition of your spare tire and emergency kit.

Watch the wheels

After weeks of excitement, we were recently lucky to be able to giveaway a car to a family in-need. This event was hosted by by our friend Jay R of U92, and it was a day that none of us will ever forget.

Driven For Good

Childhood hunger is one of the biggest challenges facing America. In our current age of plenty, there are far too many children that unfortunately don't have enough food to eat. That's why we teamed up with the Utah Food Bank throughout September to collect money to put together backpacks for kids in need. These backpacks will soon be filled with food and distributed to kids that may not get enough to eat on weekends—when free school lunches are unable to fill in the gaps.

As we look back on this month, we're grateful for the opportunity we've had to serve the community which has made our business possible. Indeed, it's only because of the loyalty of our customers that we are able to give back in different ways throughout the year.
