Camping in Utah is one of our favorite ways to experience nature
in this beautiful state. There’s no better way to celebrate the summer than hopping in your Chevy and planning
a fun camping trip with friends and family. With so many options available,
here are three of our favorite places to camp in Utah.
Bear Lake State Park
Nestled on the border of Utah and Idaho, Bear Lake is a Utah
family favorite. With over a hundred camping and picnic sites in this area,
you’ll be sure to find a spot this summer. This popular spot offers many
activities including fishing, boating, sightseeing, and more. Many people enjoy
the sandy beaches at Bear Lake and the beautiful blue waters. If you’re going
to spend a lot of time in the water, this is the place!
Arches National Park
In Moab, you’ll be surrounded by some of the state’s most
beautiful scenery. Camping in the desert surrounded by red rocks is something
you must try at least once in your life. Enjoy a day full of hiking, biking,
and off-roading adventures. Make sure you include some time to visit the famous
arches as well. Getting a campsite inside the national park might be a bit
tricky if you don’t plan ahead, so make sure to book in advance. If it’s too
late, don’t worry. There are still a ton of places outside of the park where
you can set up camp.
Jordanelle Reservoir
and State Park
If you’re looking for a camping spot close to Salt Lake
City, Jordanelle Reservoir is a great option. It’s less than an hour away from
Salt Lake City and is another spot for water recreation. If you’re looking for
a quick day or weekend trip, it’s also very convenient to rent kayaks or jet
skis for the day. You’ll be able to enjoy the mountains, scenery, and fishing
without having to drive too far.
Now that you have a few options to think about, plan your
family trip and make it a camping trip to remember. Your Chevy will be the best
